Three pigs story board and Treatment
The story starts with a peaceful sunny setting when the camera zooms in onto the three houses, a wolf then quickly runs into the first house. Shortly after three pigs enter the scene which walk around and start searching for the wolf, the pigs start at the first house which is made of straw. The three pigs then break the house down until the wolf quickly runs to the next house which is made of twigs. The pigs continue by breaking down the second house which results with the same outcome leading the wolf to run and hide in the third house which is to strong for the pigs to break down because its made of solid bricks and concrete. After not being able to get to the wolf the three pigs wonder off leaving the wolf in the brick house on his own.

Fairytale animation
Fairytale animation
The Assignment brief was to create an animation based on a fairytale, The animation had to start with the characters from one side of the set and end with them leaving through the other. After lots of research and planning i finally chosen to base my animation on the fairytale known as The three little pigs. The story will be about three pigs but instead of a wolf blowing the houses down it will be the pigs representing police men (riot police) breaking the houses down. Im planing on using three plastic toy pigs instead of making my own because it would be much easier and it would save time. For the set i will be making paper or card houses as well as trees made of the same materials, the background will be quite plain to stop any distraction from the animation itself. I will be using a song called sound of da police to keep within the theme that i am creating.

Cameras, photos and effects
I used a camera from the store room to take photos of examples of movement, close ups and light. I first took a picture of a cat because i thought it would be a good opportunity to test the camera because of the fine detail of the cats fur. i used some effects to enhance the result. in another photo i captured the movement of someone jumping, i tried to create an interesting appearance to the photo but mainly the wall in the background. when i took a close up of a leaf i adjusted the lens to enable the background so the focus is drawn to the leaf. I added effects to add extra texture and a green filter to expand the nature feeling. I used a torch to create the pattern by moving it at a fast speed while the photo was being taken with a slow shutter speed. Afterwords i sharpened the photo and added a comic book look filter.

Gisele Kerozene Jan Kounen
Jan kounen gisele kerozene
Jan Kounen is a Dutch-born french film director and producer mostly known in France for his films Dobermann in (1997), Blueberry, I'experience secrete (2004) and 99 frances (2007). Kounen used stop motion as an animation technique to manipulate objects to appear to move on its own. The object is moved between individual photographed frames, this creates the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a sequence. Dolls with moveable joints or clay figures are often used in stop motion because it is easy for them to repsond to even the slightest of movements. But obesely not all stop motion requires figures or models, many stop motion films like this one involve using humans, household appliances and other things for comedic effect.
Flick Book
Flick book
A flick book is a book with a series of pictures that vary gradually from one page to another, so that when the pages are turned quickly, the pictures appear to animate by motion or some other change.
Obesely at first i explored my ideas by making a mind map within the themes that we where given such as halloween, fireworks, and nature. After writing down some ideas i then narrowed it down to a tree slowly growing, a pumpkins face slowly appearing and Zombies coming to life, in the end i decided to choose the pumpkin because i liked the idea the most. Then i simply started drawing the pumpkin and used tracing paper to make sure that it looked the same on each page when the face was growing on the pumpkin.Neighbour's - Norman Mclaren
Neighbour's Norman Mclaren
A story of two men, Jean-Paul Ladouceur and Grant Munro, live peacefully in adjacent cardboard houses. When a flower blooms between their houses, they fight each other to the death over the ownership of the single small flower. Originally made as an anti-war film in 1952, Neighbours is the winner of both a canadian film award and an academy award. Strangely, it was in the Documentary category even though it was supposed to be a short drama. A press release issued by AMPAS states that Neighbours is "among a group of films that not only competed, but won Academy Awards in what were clearly inappropriate categories." In 2009 Neighbours was listed the most significant documentary heritage collections in the world. McLaren created the soundtrack of the film, creating various blobs, lines, and triangles which the projector read as sound. Even though some people prefer the orignal soundtrack, some people do partially like a second version which uses a very passionate song that most people agree it improves the experience of the film. The film uses the technique known as pixilation, an animation technique using live actors as stop-motion objects.
