I try to incorporate music in the majority of my work which is exactly what i have done for my final piece. The overall product of my final piece was a black and white stopframe animation which included one of my favorite music artists called Dub Fx. The idea came from a drawing of mine that was originally a photo of Dub Fx that i found on the internet which gave me the idea to draw music notes coming out of his mouth to embrace the symbol of music. That was how i came up with the idea for animating the music notes to look like they where moving and basically show the music that he was creating. The piece contains two parts, first the animation itself and second the music along side it that i chosen especially to suit the fact that its Dub Fx in the animation. The music was one of his songs called 'Made', but because the song had to be instrumental i picked a section from the beginning were he is just beat boxing. To create the animation i used paper and pencils to draw it including the music notes that i cut out with scissors, then i took photos of the individual music notes using my digital camera one by one until i had enough pictures to make my stopframe animation. I then finally edited them together and put the music to it to finish it using Premier on one of the macs.
